It was made by Illumination Entertainment and was introduced by Universal Pictures on March 2, 2012, the 108th anniversary of Dr Seuss’ birth.
The movie is the 4th feature movie based on a novel by Dr. Seuss, the 2nd Dr. Seuss version fully computer-animated after Horton Hears a Who!, as well as the first published in 3D. The Lorax was Illumination Entertainment’s initial movie released in IMAX 3D (called “IMAX Tree-D” in advertising for the movie). The primary cast contains Danny DeVito as the Lorax, Zac Efron as Ted, and Ed Helms as the Once-ler. New cartoon characters presented in the movie are Audrey, that is voiced by Taylor Swift, Aloysius O’Hare, voiced by Rob Riggle, and Grammy Norma, voiced by Betty White.
In the walled town of Thneed-Ville, in which all things are artificial and also the atmosphere is a product, a guy called Ted desires to get the heart of his perfect lady, Audrey.
